6 Miler

Went out for a 6 miler this morning and had a great run. I took a little bit of time off from running while we were on vacation in the Smoky Mountains last week. I took my stuff with me and had full intentions of running, but once we discovered why they call them "mountains" we decided not to. I tweaked my knee a little bit in the 15k run and a few trails that all have a huge increase in elevation was probably not a great idea. I'm hoping that missing a week of training this late in the game isn't going to hurt me too bad one race day (April 28th).

I've decided to post my running calendar on here to keep me accountable to myself and anyone that happens to want to check in on it and ask me how I'm doing with it. :-) You can find my running calendar HERE or at the link at the top of the page.

  1. According to the Calender, looks like you are tapering down a bit now. Best wishes in the rest of your training. THe biggest journey is just getting to the starting line in one piece and ready to go.
