100 Push-up Challenge

I was laying in bed last night and got the crazy idea...I want to do 100 push-ups. I knew that getting down on the floor and doing 100 push-ups wasn't going to happen last night, but if I did a program I could possibly do it. So I did a quick google search and found "One Hundred Pushups." It's a website designed to help people like me reach their goal.

I couldn't help but think of the possibilities of joining forces with people from across the country doing this same challenge at the same time. So why not? Why don't you join me and have arms that you can barely raise to open doors for a few weeks? The goal is 100 consecutive pushups, but I'll take anything more than what my initial test was.

So here's how it works...you do your initial test (as many "good form" pushups as you can do without collapsing or losing form) and then report back here. Fill out the form below that states how many you were able to do and then visit One Hundred Pushups: Week 1 to look at what where you place in the program schedule.

I'll be starting the program on Monday June 4th. You're more than welcome to join me in doing my 3 days of pushups on Monday, Wednesday and Friday or you can do them whatever days work for your schedule.

Be sure to report back here to comment on my update posts and join the conversations with others. You'll get encouragement, tips and at least others to sympathize with you.

So....are you in? I hope so!

Fill out my online form.

  1. Ok... after checking out the website and waffling for the past hour, I've decided to bite the bullet and join in!

I was only able to do five standard push-ups for my pre-test, so I'm anxious to see if this will really get me to 100! I have weak little arms. :)
